Many will take something like this and see it as it's not supposed to be. I look at this and see as far as I know perfect depictions of different mental illnesses. I only have a few that are described in here. I love the art. I love the illustrator telling us personal stories of what they went through in life and how they convey it in art. I love the little poems, small stories, as well as different art conveying emotion as it should be shown - Real.
The images may be disturbing, but if you want a raw look at examples of what people deal with in their lives, I highly recommend this book. 10/10.

I like the book but it's actually a gift for someone whom I know is particularly fond of that art style. I haven't given it yet but I anticipate a very warm acceptance of the book. She has wanted to draw and I've advised her to let this style be her guide.
